My ways of releasing stress


Assalamualaikum and hello guys. 😊

I'd love to ramble more. Maybe just on a few things. I'd love to share with you guys on how and what I do to release my stress.

I buy cute things

I have this urge to buy cute things whenever I saw one. And I could cry if some things are way too cute for me to handle. No kidding. I cried. Having cute things in my possessions gave me some sort of satisfactions that I couldn't really explain how it feels. I'm sure you guys have felt this kind of feelings too.

Change my template

This is kinda bad actually. It can actually be a waste of money and time but for my own satisfactions I have to do it. Don't worry there's a limit to everything and I've had mine. Truthfully there's a lot more templates in my wish list but nope it's not a necessity but more like a wish. You know what I meant.

Updating my blog

Surprisingly, reading and updating my blog is actually enjoyable to me. I've never thought of it as something I'd spent my time on but I did. I do enjoy writing and sharing things with people but I'm not actually good at it. Writing here and sharing my thoughts with everyone actually feels good.

I didn't get to talk about much things with people and people tend to forget when we talk too much. Through writing and reading it stays here as it is and we can always get back to it whenever we needed to.

Eat

This is the most common thing people would do. No doubt. You guys are too, right? Eating can be a stress reliever. Chewing takes energy from you. Just saying. But it also gives you energy after we swallow everything inside. Okay, don't mind that. It crosses my mind in a split second.

Whoever don't enjoy eating, aren't really living. We eat to live. Not live to eat. Now, where do I heard this before? Oh yeah, it's a really famous saying.

Exercise

I'm sure some of you know how I love exercising to the point that I can't let my day days off without doing nothing. I'd either go for a run or swimming whenever it is possible. But if not, any simple stretching and physical activities would do.

For now, it's a bit hard for me to maintain my routine since I am still trying to adapt to my new place. But I'll try my best to make up for it soon. Wish me luck.

Read

I love books and I love reading but I don't do reviews. I view things differently and am very particular about the things I read. I don't just read any books and actually got no time to write reviews. I envy those who can write their reviews on the books they've read. It actually portrays their own unique points of views.

I can't say I have a wide imaginations but I do have a very weird views and imaginations every time I read something. And oh I forgot to mention, I prefer fictions, fantasy, fairy tale and mystery but definitely not romance. It bores me out.

Write

Anyone here enjoys writing as much as I do? Back in my undergraduate studies, my friends would offer me papers so that I can jot down everything in the papers during classes and seminars. The thing is, I actually get sleepy so easily and writing helps me to focus more on the lectures and all. Yes, I fill up all the blank papers with my weird writing and stuff.

But, I don't draw and I don't have that talent. Since, now I had less time to write on papers, I do blogs instead and took a job a write articles when I was free during my holidays.

Sleep

Ok. This is everyone's favourite. Mine is a different story. I suffers an insomnia since I was a kid and had trouble sleeping each and every time. Tried so hard to overcome and cure this problem of mine. Alhamdulillah, I'm getting a hang on it.

Not gonna say much on this but you know how good it feels when you're able to sleep soundly. I rarely had those kinds of sleep but when I do, I'd take it for granted and sleep through out the day.


These are just random things which I list and not ranked based on my own choice. There's a lot more tbh but these are all the one which I choose to share.

  1. Whenever I'm stress, you can always find me eating and sleeping most of the times. I also tend to shut everyone down as I need my own space time to reorganize everything.

    1. Reading helps a lot sebenarnya. But reading materials tu mesti la kene yg kite suke kan. Ray dgr radio masa dlam kereta je hehe. Talk radio does helps and makes some people feel calm.

  6. Hampir semua cara ray buat tu sama dengan kita. But sleeping is my main way utk relase tension :) Sampai jadi habit. Itu yg tak bagus tu. Hehehe. Kita suka dengar org bercerita a.k.a bebel. Tak tahu kenapa. Kdg tu bila kita stress nanti kita akan pergi kat kwn pstu ajak dia borak. Even though just dgr je dia cakap, sedikit sebyk release jgk stress kita. Hahaha pelik kan :p

  10. I can relate to some of yours ways of de-stress. Lately I'm into journaling and buying stickers. Lots of em! Sticker tu tak perlu pun I can't stop buying. And music. Anyway, I hope you will have a great day ahead.

    1. hahahaha you're so me. I had lots and lots of stickers. Can't stop buying them. Please pray that there's no more cute and pretty stickers around me. Cuz I'll end up buying them even though I know I won't ever use them. They're too cute !!!

    1. Ikr. They're amazingly adorable that I always thought I needed one. Actually, all of it. Just for a sense of satisfactions, mostly. Why mahal? Probably because the process of making each one of it aren't easy. Well, you know the details and stuff..
