Losing weight in a healthy way

I don't really know where to start but here goes nothing. So, I've been receiving a lot of questions and people asking for tips regarding on how to lose weight in a healthy way. I think it's time for me to share it here. I am not really good at explaining things but I'll try my best. Keep your mind open and be ready to process whatever that's written down here. Oh and if you were wondering where, they would ask me directly in my instagram.

Losing and gaining weight are two different things and people these days are having so many problems in trying to lose weight. I know it's not easy and it took a lot of courage to do so. Well yeah, nothing comes easy right. Give and take, there are a lot of things that needs to be sacrificed. The main problem was actually you yourself. Whether you want to do it or not, it's all up to you.

Let's cut to the chase, shall we?

But first please bear this in mind that this is just a few tips and the things I actually practice in my daily life. A human body is all different and you need to know your body well. If this doesn't work for you, you might want to consider on changing a few things based on your preference. This is not only to help you lose weight but more importantly to maintain it and keep your body healthy. 

1. Plain water

Change your daily drink into plain water. Avoid taking sweet and cold drinks. You don't have to drastically avoid the sweet and cold drink instead, you can just cut it little by little until you can finally put all those drinks away. Drink plenty of water so you won't get dehydrated but also don't drink too much or you'll get bloated. 

If you feel like drinking something other than plain water, you can have juices. As for me, I'd prefer something less sweet and no ice. I am not saying drinking ice water is bad but it is better to avoid it from drinking too much. Once in a while would be okay.  

2. Food Portion 

Avoid eating too much food at once. Eat 3-4 times a day but with a little portion. Don't skip your breakfast, grab your lunch at the right time, and eat an early dinner. You can choose whatever you want to eat but make it less. As I said, it'll take some time for you to get used to it but you won't regret it when the results kick in. 

3. Healthy Foods

Food is the foundation of everything. That's what I keep telling myself so that I would care what I eat every single day. This is where people find it hard to maintain. They thought that they have to eat all those greens, salads, fruits for each and every meal. No no no. There's no need for that. This is one of the reasons why most people failed at their so-called-diet. 

People have always had it wrong when it comes to diet. The misconception which usually happens was everybody thought that diet is "NOT EATING". That is totally and definitely wrong. It's WRONG! They starved themselves and called it a diet. 

DIET is the sum of food consumed by a person or other organism. The word DIET often implies the use of specific intake of nutrition for health or weight-management reasons.
It's okay not to have healthy food every day or every second but it doesn't mean you can eat all those oily and unhealthy foods as you wish. Avoid. Please, AVOID it. Once in a while is fine. Do make sure to have something healthy such as salads or any greens and eat fruits at least 2-3 times a week. I'm sure you know how good these foods are for your body and also your skins. 

4. Exercises

Now, comes the laziest part out of all. We love to eat and we want to stay in shape but we are too lazy when it comes to exercises. So, here's a simple tip for all of those who are too lazy to hit the gym or even went for a walk. You can just do your exercises at home. It will only take 10-15 minutes at least. But the longer the better. Up to you people. Make sure you sweat. 

Here are some very simple basic exercises which are good for you body.

-Squat 

These are the most basic exercise which I did every single day. You can choose to do all of it in one day or randomize and pick a different exercise for each day. It doesn't have to be all of it at once. Make it simple and try to enjoy it. 

If you think this is hard then, people are you even living? You wish for something but refuse to sacrifice anything for it. You get what you deserve. So, you have to work for it. Nothing comes free in this world. Even if it's free you still have to work your ass off in order to gain it. Stop thinking and start doing. 

I tried to make it as simple and pack as possible, keeping out all weird terms when it comes to science and all. My greatest hope was for this to at least be helpful to anyone who wishes to change their lifestyle. Nothing is really impossible if you set your mind to it. These are not made up but everything is based on experiences and facts I found throughout all these years.

    2. Chayook.. Sekarang dah berjaya tambah senaman dengan jalan kaki lebih kurang 20 minit seminggu paling sikit.. Harapnya boleh buat berterusan..

  3. setakat ini akak cuba kurangkan amik karbo, karbo dari roti wholemeal dan buah-buah, air manis memang akak tak ambil, memang jenis biasa minum air kosong,tapi akak kurang senaman, buat masa ni setakat sit up dengan briswalk jelah.... briswalk tu pun kalau petang time balik kerja tak hujan dapatlah jalan jauh, kalau hujan duduk rumah jelah diam-diam

  4. I did everything you mentioned above now I just have to be consistent and wait for it.
    I even cut off coffee (sob sob) for 6 months now.

  6. Plain water tu kunci utama dia kan. Ada orang minum plain water je boleh lose weight. Tapi dengan syarat jangan minum dan makan manis, berminyak dan semua tu lah.

    1. Plain water is good but if it's too much nanti akan jadi toxicity but if terlalu kurang akan jadi deficiency pulak. So gotta drink plenty of water. bukan tak boleh langsung but better avoid and healthy meals and improve lifestyle. ^^
