Healthy snacking helps me improve my lifestyle

Hello hello hello everyone. How are you guys doing? I hope everyone is in a good shape. Happy weekend. I'm currently away and home at the same time from the busy city. It felt so good to be home and I am in a much better shape. Alhamdulillah. Many things are improving and there are things that are also left untouched. Can't help that but I'll get back to it. I just need a moment to breathe and to live. 

The past few months, maybe it is more accurate if I say that it has been almost a year that I think was so very hard for me to handle. Inside and outside. I lost a lot of things and gain even more valuable thing in life. That is experience. But that's not what I want talk about today. Instead I just want to share a quick tips have a healthy life style. That is to eat right. 

I'm not gonna share about a whole meal or anything. I just want to emphasise on one thing. That is, if you feel like you're not doing it right, make it right. If you're not eating healthy food, work on it and get yourself healthy food. You might get lost on the track like I do, like I did but it's never to late to start again. 

I know many are wondering how can they improve their life their life style and their quality of life. The answers are there but it is just who you aren't really aware of it or ignored it even though it's right in front of you. While you were asking questions and trying to find those answers, you get blinded by many other things. And you even forgot the fact that sometimes it is better to go back to basic. You don't need advance training or complicated meals to get you back on a healthy diet. You just need the most basic things and start again. 

Changes and diet


Some may know and some may not but I am very strict with what I eat. I'm not a picky eater that's for sure. It's just that I need to watch what I consumed. The past months has been hard. I noticed my lifestyle changed along with my diet. Long gone my healthy diet, I went on picking up fast food for quite a while. And that my friend, is very bad for me. So it began, when my health starts to deteriorate. It was not mainly on the food I consumed but it's actually the way I live my life. My lifestyle changed almost 360 degree. My quality of life went bad to very poor. 

I realised that it was mostly causes by my poor diet. Diet is not what you think it is. At least what most people think it is. When they say diet, they thought that people do not eat. Diet is not to torture you not to eat anything. But diet itself is the way you eat and what you eat. So basically, everyone is on diet. 

You got me?
Everyone is dieting. But in their very own way. 

Some people eat a lot and some people eat less than other people did. It doesn't matter as long as you eat and provide your body with the nutrients that it need. Whether it's healthy or not, it's up to you. You take care of your own body. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm tired of hearing people say the same thing all over again. 

How snacking changed my life?


Nothing big but every time I consumed something that is good for my body, I feel so much better. My mood changes and so are my health. I'm not saying this bluntly, but I experience it myself this whole time. And I just had my snacks a while ago which leads me to write this sudden post. What I mean by snacking is something that I eat in between meals or after. Anytime I feel like eating but not sure of what to eat even after I've had my main meal. 

My choice of snaking would be fruits and yogurts most of the time. There are more in the list but these are the two main snacks I have in my list. 

Why?

Because it promote or give me the feeling of satiety. If you guys googled, it would mean to give you the feelings of fullness or in another word, it makes you feel less hungry. When I'm feeling full, I stop craving for other unhealthy foods or beverages. I love fast food and I love sweets but having it every day won't do me any good. So, that's just how I overcome it. and I'm glad I did. I can feel the difference and the changes it did to me physically and mentally. 

Believe it or not, what you eat means a lot to your body. Remember my anxiety post. I didn't post that without a reason. I post it in order for me to sort things out. To find the solutions on how to get better. And this is one of the things I do in order to improve my life from those anxiety. So, eating right and eating healthy can help to cure your anxiety. My anxiety. 

These are a few post on it if you're wondering what I'm talking about. 


Wow never thought this post is gonna be this long. I never really planned on what to write but those little ideas just came barging in and my fingers just started moving on my keyboards. I'm not sure how this gonna help but there's actually a lot more to cover and this is only a part of it. Not really sure where to start either so I decided to just do it randomly. That's all. 

I know this post is a bit messy but I hope you guys will understand what I'm trying to say. Thank you so much for reading and spending your time here. I'm really thankful as always. 


Perhaps you guys can suggest something else for me to write regarding health and lifestyle. I have a lot to write but I don't know where to begin.

  1. Yes, diet is balance our meal. tapi itulah, ada yang tak makan sayur dan tak makan buah. Susah juga. btw, buah naga tu sedapnya. lama tak makan sebab jenis buah bermusim.

  2. Me too! In progress diet, ada orang refer to dietition and coach, depends pada orang tuhla.. To me, i just control all the protein, carbs and calories plus do exercise,especially when off day, jogging is a must! Change lifestyle, baru nampakk perubahannn~ gitu... Mabe u can write up about what exercise you do and what your healthy meal everydayy....

  3. akak pun tengah cuba makan yang sihat, lebihkan makan buah dan sayur, cuba tinggalkan makanan bergula dan fast food walaupun susah... jadikan kekacang atau buah sebagai snacking

    1. try la. sedappp. itu la pasal. ray pun jrg makan buat or sayur but many good changes happened bila add sayur dgn buah-buahan dalam diet kite tiap2 hari. And trust me, it's good.

  7. I'm snacking right now. haha but with an unhealthy choice of snacks because currently on a short vacay with my fam. Craving for potato salad as I'm writing this.

    Sedapnya nampak buah naga color tu. Officemate ada jual tapi Mrs. A tak pernah beli bila tengok gambar tu tiba-tiba teringin huhuhu...

  13. so true, diet is not all about wanting to lose some fat. BV teringin nak try balanced diet while prohibited myself from sweets drinks like cola and fast/junk foods but i can't T^T dalam seminggu confirm ada minum cola T^T
